Fertilizers
The ability of phosphate glass to support
the vital activity of microorganisms and to serve as a source
of their nutrition had become a basis for creation of a
fundamentally new class of mineral fertilizers of the prolonged
action "Agrovitaqua-AVA".
Supercooling (rapid quenching) of the
glass melt in the process of production entails its thermodynamic
nonequilibrium. The elements in this substance are more
mobile. As a consequence, they are more accessible for micro-organisms
and plants.
Vitreous fertilizer granules dissolve
gradually, during several years, unlike the traditional
fertilizers which are dissolved at once and then are washed
out from the soil. The intensity of the dissolution of AVA
fertilizer actively depends on the temperature of medium,
which correspond to a change in the need of plants for nourishing
elements under different temperature conditions. With a
seasonal reduction of the temperature and rates of biomass
development, the rate of dissolution of the vitreous phosphate
granules also slows down abruptly.
The microelements which form a part of
metaphosphate granules of the vitreous fertilizers have
catalytic effect on the flow of biochemical processes ensuring
the creation of physiological active centers and vitamin
complex in the food chain: soil microorganisms>plants>animals>man.

AVA - a new step to sustainable
agriculture
Traditional polycrystalline mineral fertilizers
have a number of essential deficiences. They destroy the
structure of soils, are easily washed out and weathered
(plants assimilate only 30-50% of the introduced substance).
As a result, the ecological state of reservoirs and ground
waters deteriotares. At the same time, the soil continues
to be impoverished.
The new AVA fertilizer is a mineral fertilizer
of a fundamentally different type. It is a high-temperature
melt of different minerals with a uniform vitreous structure.
AVA consists of metaphosphates of potassium, calcium, magnesium,
alloyed by such vitals as boron, sulphur, selenium, iron,
copper, magnese, zinc, molybdenum, cobalt and others.
The vitreous structure of the AVA fertilizer
provides for the unique ecological properties of it and
offers a whole series of the obvious advantages over the
traditional polycrystalline fertilizers:
- Granules of the fertilizer are
dissolved and feed plants gradually for several years,
therefore they preserve an environment: soil, ground waters.
The fertilizer remains in soil even with watered agriculture
and in the flood fields.
- The fertilizer acts softly, without
"burning" roots and plants, and safe for the rain worms
as well. AVA activates useful soil microorganisms, including
nitrogen-fixing bacteria. The micro ones, which are the
basic creators of soil fertility, increase the content
of humus in the soil die to the AVA fertilizer.
- In a set of microelements AVA
exceeds practically all fertilizers presented in the market.
Due to the optimization of the microelement balance, the
nutrional value of a retrieved crop significantly rises,
because the content of minerals (vitamins, albumens, sugars,
essential oils) increases.
- Due to the fact that the fertilizer
contains up to 95% of an assimilated substance and isn't
practically washed out, the standards of a single introduction
of AVA are 5-10 times less than in the annually used traditional
mineral fertilizers.
Major Russian research-and-development
centers involved into research in the field of cultivation
and protection of plants have become interested in the unique
fertilizer: All-Russian Plant Institute and All-Russian Research
Center for Plant Protection, Russian Academy of Agricultural
Sciences, Botanic Research Center of Russian Academy of Sciences,
North-Caucasian Scientific Research Center of horticulture
and viticulture, All-Russian Scientific Research Center of
tobacco, Scientific Research Project Technology Institute
of hop and others. They have accumulated convincing evidence
of the positive influence of the AVA fertilizer practically
on all cultures and have determined promising fields of its
application:
- Due to the prolonged action, AVA
is effective for the perennial plants: fruit and berry
and stone-fruit cultures, perennial flowering cultures,
hop, citrus plants, junipers, etc.
- The composition of the fertilizer
is ideally suitable for efflorescent plants, because easy-assimilated
phosphorus and potassium activate and stimulate the flowering,
and microelements make this flowering more saturated and
prolonged.
- It is very perspective to apply
the fertilizer in seed-growing. When AVA is applied, the
number, size of the seeds and content of nutrition increases.
- Due to the application of the
new fertilizer, the morbidity of plants substantially
reduced. Therefore, specialists of All-Russian Plant Protection
Institute successfully include the AVA fertilizer into
systems of biological and integrated complexes of protection
and nourishment of vegetable cultures.
